An established and growing manufacturer of premium bespoke joinery is seeking an experienced Spray Finisher / Paint Sprayer to join its skilled workshop team.The company specialises in the manufacture of high-end residential and commercial joinery, producing bespoke products, fitted furniture, cabinetry, doors, wall panelling, media walls and specialist interior joinery. Due to continued expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a dedicated spray finisher who takes pride in producing exceptional quality finishes.The RoleWorking within a modern manufacturing workshop, you will be responsible for preparing and spray finishing a wide range of bespoke joinery products to an exceptionally high standard. You will work closely with the production team to ensure consistent quality, efficiency and timely delivery across multiple projects.ResponsibilitiesPrepare bespoke joinery components for finishingPrime, denib and apply top coats to a variety of productsSpray MDF, hardwood, veneered panels, shaker doors and assembled cabinetryApply water-based and polyurethane (PU) coating systemsMix colours and maintain finish consistency across production batchesInspect finished products to ensure the highest quality standards are achievedMaintain spray booth cleanliness and spray equipmentWork efficiently to production schedules while maintaining exceptional attention to detailAssist with paint stock control and consumables where requiredYou will be an experienced spray finisher with a passion for producing first-class workmanship and a keen eye for detail.ExperiencePrevious experience spray finishing bespoke joineryExperience using water-based paint systemsStrong preparation, sanding and denibbing skillsAbility to consistently achieve high-quality finishesExcellent attention to detail and pride in your workAble to work independently and as part of a collaborative workshop teamGood organisational skills with the ability to meet production deadlinesDesirable ExperienceExperience using Renner, Sayerlack, ICA or similar finishing systemsExperience spraying shaker doors and hardwood componentsKnowledge of polishing, buffing and remedial finishing techniquesForklift licence (advantageous but not essential)BenefitsSalary of £28,000 - £34,000, depending on experiencePermanent, full-time positionModern workshop and spray facilitiesOpportunity to work on varied, high-end bespoke projectsStable, long-term employment with a growing businessOvertime opportunitiesSupportive and professional working environmentCareer progression as the company continues to expandApplicationIf you are an experienced spray finisher looking to join a well-established manufacturer producing premium bespoke joinery, please contact our Northallerton Si Recruitment office.TPBN1_UKTJ
