Role Overview
The Machine Setter/Operator role will be based in a CNC Milling/Machine Centre environment.
Responsibilities
* Setting and running CNC Milling machines
* Producing parts to drawing, deburring, cleaning and packaging to set procedures
* Ensuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using gauges, verniers and micrometres
* Understanding and complying with Company Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) practices, identifying areas for improvement and supporting related initiatives
* Working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), production rates, workplace organisation, front line operator asset care (FLOAC), maintenance and cleanliness of machine equipment
Experience / Qualifications
* Experience in a Milling/Machine centre environment
* Basic experience with measuring equipment
* Working within a production environment
To be successful
* Have basic engineering drawing competency and programme reading skills
* Hold NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Manufacturing, or be qualified by experience
* Demonstrate Company Core Values at all times
* Be able to work to daily plans and tasks using numeracy and literacy skills
* Follow instructions accurately, maintaining high levels of quality through excellent attention to detail
* Aspire to learn and develop in the role
