A brilliant alternative provision academy based in the Hasland area is looking to find a hard-working, supportive and naturally outgoing Teaching & Learning Assistant to work alongside the class teacher and provide excellent learning experiences to KS3 & KS4 students with behavioural issues.

Teaching & Learning Assistant – Role Information:
1. Teaching & Learning Assistant
2. Located in Hasland (S41)
3. Full academic year – Monday to Friday role
4. Paid £430 per week during term time only
5. Access to multiple online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
6. Planning and conducting learning experiences alongside class teacher
7. Supporting students individually and in small groups
8. Working in classes no bigger than 10 pupils

Teaching & Learning Assistant – Applicant Requirements:
10. Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
11. Strong academic background
12. Prior experience volunteering, teaching or tutoring
13. Passionate about the all-round development of young people
14. Good organisation and communication skills
15. Resilient and patient regarding progress of students
