As our industry continues to develop, so do we! We are now looking for a Senior Project Engineer for WTG installations to assist in the development and management of the WTG T&I campaigns at Cadeler. What will you do? As our new Senior Project Engineer for WTG installation, you will lead and manage technical solutions for vessel readiness and WTG installation projects. This also requires build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and ensuring the safety and efficiency of onshore and offshore construction operations during projects. Your Main Tasks Include Participate in the development of comprehensive project plans for WTG transport and installation of the engineering and construction activities. Provide technical leadership for the transportation of Wind Turbine Generators onboard Cadeler state of the art vessels, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project specifications. Develop and review site assessments and feasibility studies to optimize WTG installation processes and address potential challenges for jacked-up operations, supported by skilled subcontractors. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction to ensure seamless project execution. Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide updates, address technical queries. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of personnel and compliance with industry safety standards. Oversee quality control measures to ensure that WTG installations meet high-quality standards, including accurate project records. Support equipment implementation offshore and build bridge between vessel crew and office teams. Monitor equipment delivery, performance, and deviations from project objectives. Identify opportunities for improvements, optimizations, cost savings, and innovation in lifting equipment design and development. We think you will be a good match if you have some of the following competencies: Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, naval architecture or a related field. Proven 5-years experience in managing and executing WTG installation projects in the offshore wind industry, direct experience with jack-up vessel preparation is a plus. Strong technical background in offshore wind turbine construction and/or jack-up vessel operations Project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse stakeholders on-site and from the office. Experience with vessel mobilization. Experience leading and motivating multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements. Come work with us!
