About the Role:
We are seeking an outstanding and inspirational leader to join our dynamic Physical Education department as a Teacher of Girls' PE. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of girls' physical education within a thriving school community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teaching and Learning:
o Oversee the work of PE teachers within the Girls' program, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Girls' PE program, implementing improvements based on data analysis.
* Relationships and Wellbeing:
o Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents, fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the Girls' PE program.
o Promote the importance of physical and mental well-being amongst girls, encouraging healthy lifestyle choices.
o Champion equal opportunities for all girls to participate and excel in PE and sports.
* Extracurricular Activities:
o Oversee and develop a range of extracurricular sports clubs and activities for girls, catering to diverse interests and abilities.
o Encourage participation in interschool competitions and external sporting events, providing guidance and support to student athletes.
* School Community:
o Collaborate effectively with other departments within the school to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
