Performance Marketing Lead, Accountants
Job Description
This role will be responsible for leading and optimizing the UKI Accountants NCA & Groundgame marketing plan and team, setting and delivering against the targets and revenue plans in the region (driving engagement, customer/client acquisition, and revenue growth). The Marketing Lead will oversee the UKI planning process for accountants and lead trading interlock with sales & performance teams in the region, focusing on performance and optimization. This role involves developing and executing data-driven, ROI-focused campaigns aligned with business objectives, managing a high-performing team, and driving innovation in campaign strategies while continuously analyzing performance metrics to achieve exceptional results across all channels. The role also requires fostering collaboration, prioritization, and execution through the UKIA digital & campaign hubs.
Location - Hybrid, 3 days per week out of our London, Manchester, Newcastle, or Winnersh office.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead marketing and cross-functional collaboration for UKI NCA Accountants, working with the UKI Small leadership team to deliver regional targets.
* Develop and own strategies and plans (demand and strategic) for UKI NCA Accountants across all channels, working in close alignment with the RTR organization during annual budget planning, trading, and seasonal opportunities.
* Manage NCA marketing efforts for new practices and new clients, covering all products including SBCA, SBCP, Sage 50, SFA, Go Proposal, AutoEntry, and Futrli.
* Oversee all NCA & Groundgame marketing performance and contribution to the BU in the region, including metrics like units, ARR, trials, SQOs, MQLs, CPAs, and LTV:CAC, leveraging MTD to drive volume.
* Lead collaboration with UKIA digital & campaign hubs to plan, prioritize, execute, and optimize performance.
* Regularly analyze and report on KPIs such as conversion rates, ROI, and CAC, providing actionable insights to senior leadership. Manage trading processes through weekly performance calls and regional sales trading meetings.
* Utilize analytics, testing, and performance data to inform decisions and strategies for improving acquisition costs and campaign effectiveness.
* Oversee budget allocation and management, ensuring spend is optimized and aligned with business objectives, with accountability for a £m marketing budget.
* Lead and develop a high-performing team.
* Coordinate with IC, RTR, and PMM to meet regional BU requirements and ensure tight collaboration on priorities.
Skills, Know-How, and Experience:
* Experience in marketing management roles.
* Results-driven with strong commercial acumen and KPI focus.
* Experience in fast-paced, sales-led organizations.
* Strong understanding of ecommerce trading and assisted funnels, with knowledge of B2B, B2C, and channel marketing advantages.
* Proven experience in digital and field marketing.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills at senior levels.
* Ability to work in a matrix environment and influence across multiple teams, including UKIA hubs and regional structures.
* Resilience and strong accountability.
