Description
Prepares forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans. Consolidates quarterly budget, annual plan, and forecast. Updates monthly forecast. Analyzes results, trends, performance metrics, and provides variance and root cause analyses to guide business decisions, highlighting causes of unexpected variances. Acts as an advisor and strategic partner to the business for all financial, operational, and client matters. Provides support to budget owners on annual budget(s) and long-range forecast processes. Partners with business and functional units to:
* Develop robust financial models to help business partners understand the financial implications of strategies, initiatives, and opportunities.
* Support new business growth by coordinating market data collection and sales activities to aid in sales prioritization and data collection.
* Establish and improve financial planning processes, procedures, and controls, and assess gaps for necessary improvements.
* Enhance financial and operational reporting and information capabilities of the company.
* Develop root cause corrective actions with colleagues and ensure their completion.
What You Will Bring:
* B.A. or B.S. in Finance/Accounting, with 8+ years of experience in accounting and finance, including at least 5 years in FP&A and budgeting. Solid experience in accounting and financial reporting in an operational environment.
* Proven ability to be an effective financial partner in a global matrixed organization.
* Self-starter with initiative, results-driven, attentive to detail, analytical, problem-solving skills, and capable of questioning the status quo and providing solutions. Able to link financial results to operational performance.
* Ability to see the big picture while paying attention to details and inconsistencies. Positive attitude, team-oriented, eager to learn and add value.
* High proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup Tables, VBA), PowerPoint, ERP, TM1, and other data applications.
* Experience with Oracle Cloud or similar IT systems is a plus.
