Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with an international supplier of specialist material handling equipment who are looking to bring on a Regional Service Manager to cover the Midlands region. With a competitive salary & overall package, this is a great opportunity for an experienced service manager working within the Material Handling or Heavy Plant industry looking to get into a new role.
Responsibilities
Overseeing all aftersales across the Midlands, developing the team and identifying growth opportunities
Managing a team of Field Engineers and Technical Specialist to ensure service is carried our efficiently
Making sure all service contracts are well managed and appropriate administrative tasks are carried out accordingly
Maintaining regular engagement with external and internal stakeholders ensuring high levels of satisfaction and effective working relationships
Ensuring that Health & Safety standards are adhered to on all customer sitesRequirements
The company have a preference for an individual who has experience of managing a service team within the Material Handling or Heavy Plant industry. It is not essential that you are an engineer by trade, but you must have a strong background in working within a service environment. It is also crucial that you have experience of working with service contracts and managing customer accounts. In terms of location, you can be based anywhere across the Midlands or South Wales with the expectation that you will travel across this region and to the company’s head office in the West Midlands regularly.
