Position: Senior Supervising Social Worker
Location: Hybrid / Office - Cambuslang
Salary: Up to £41,948.53 per annum, based on experience
Status: Full-Time, 35 hours per week, permanent

Your Role
As a Senior Supervising Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting foster carers and ensuring the best outcomes for children and young people in care. Your responsibilities will include:
* Empowering foster carers and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for children.
* Monitoring the suitability and competence of foster carers, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
* Providing clear guidance on fostering tasks, competencies, and standards as per FCAS policies.
* Conducting regular supervision sessions with allocated foster carers.
* Collaborating with a team to identify and address the needs of foster families.
* Ensuring compliance with all key documentation for children and foster carers.
* Attending meetings and providing reports for commissioning teams.
* Encouraging the participation of children and young people in agency development.
* Participating in an out-of-hours support service on a rota basis.
* Supporting the referrals team through the day duty system on a rota basis.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
* A Social Work qualification.
* Valid Social Work registration or equivalent.
* Proven ability to produce high-quality reports.
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
* Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays.
* Confidence in transporting children and young people in challenging situations.
* A full driving licence.
