This is an opportunity to work for a leading special purpose engineering manufacturer specialising in the design and manufacture of quality products for the Aerospace and Automotive sectors.
Due to continued success, they have a permanent opening for a Mechanical Design Engineer, working in a Precision Engineering environment.
This will be a varied and interesting job role, with a focus on the design of the company specialist products.
Mechanical Design Engineer Salary and Benefits
1. £27,000 - £42,000 (salary is negotiable dependant on your level of experience)
2. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Commutable From: Leicester, Coventry, Corby, Burton upon Trent, Loughborough, Coalville
Mechanical Design Engineer Candidate Requirements
5. The Mechanical Design Engineer must have experience in a previous Engineering Design role using 2D and 3D CAD on AutoCAD and Inventor.
6. Minimum qualification is HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
7. Experience in a Precision Engineering environment
8. Tool design experience would be highly advantageous.
Mechanical Design Engineer Key Responsibilities
9. Producing design Layouts for quotation purposes.
10. Produce the technical design and specification of the tool to meet customer’s enquiry.
11. Produce 2D and 3D CAD production drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.
12. Help support the Technical Department with root cause analysis of technical issues and provide general design support.
13. Support theBlog production department with technical queries.
