Little Bam Bams are opening a brand new baby unit and we are seeking passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Educators to join our team. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the implementation of an engaging curriculum that promotes learning through play
- Manage daily routines and create a structured environment for children
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children to explore and learn
- Conduct observations and assessments to track each child's progress
- Collaborate with parents to support their child's development and address any concerns
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
- Foster positive relationships with children, promoting their self-esteem and independence
- Lead group activities, including circle time, storytelling, and arts and crafts
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the nursery setting
Skills:
- Early childhood education: Possess a solid understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Childcare experience: Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred
- Excellent English communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Leadership skills: Ability to take initiative, make decisions, and lead activities
