The Role

Responsible for proposing and implementing the Search & Browse and Product Recommendations merchandising activity, making data led decisions, leading to proven improvements in the customer experience. You will achieve this working cross functionally with other departments and general support to optimise key customer touchpoints with product, and by utilising product sequencing and recommendations strategies.

Responsibilities

1. Represent the Online Merchandising function in Brand Tribe to feed into and influence cross-functional meetings with teams such as Trading, SEO, Buying, Merchandising, and Paid Media.
2. Own the implementation, delivery and comms of Online Merchandising Strategic Pillars into Brand Tribe – Search, Hierarchy & Taxonomy, Trade, BloomReach Features & Testing.
3. Regularly report, contextualise data, and action improvements to key touchpoints in on-site customer journey such as search, navigation & filters.
4. Lead on implementation of product sequencing strategy driven by Brand Tribe objectives.
5. Own delivery of BloomReach Search & Merch / Recommendations & Pathways tool, including administrative tasks to support site hygiene.
6. Develop and implement A/B testing strategies linked to your online store’s primary objectives and KPIs (Add-to-Card Rate, Conversion Rate, Revenue per Visit, Average Order Value)
7. Use various analytics tools, including Google Analytics 4, BloomReach Insights, and Power Bi for actionable insight to drive behaviour and commercial performance increases.
8. Training and supporting Online Merchandising Assistant, as direct report, both in their day-to-day to ensure best practise use of merchandising and analytics tools; as well as in their performance/technical/personal objectives for career development.
9. Report regularly on performance, results and action plans to stakeholders across the business
10. Conduct competitor research to identify and propose opportunities to improve UX, product ranges, merchandising and SEO
11. Work with wider business teams such as DT and Product Ops to drive improvement to on-site experience and internal processes.
12. Administration such as link building, characteristic / attribute building, reporting and SEO
13. General other duties as required

What are we looking for?

14. Be able to build good working relationships with stakeholders across the business, often with conflicting objectives.
15. Be data led, analytical and commercially minded with your decisions; always thinking ‘customer first’ to delight the customer and hit business KPIs.
16. Have the confidence and the ability to present and report back on results and action plans to all stakeholders. Use a variety of platforms and software to achieve these objectives and experience of online merchandising tools (Bloomreach Discovery Platform) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, BloomReach Insights, Power Bi) where proven KPI improvements have been achieved is required.
17. Microsoft suites such as Teams, Excel and Power BI. Bloomreach Discovery platform (Search / Browse) and Bloomreach / Rich Relevance Product Recommendations. Google Analytics and Google Data Studio. Trello / Miro / JIRA for work management.
