Overview
British Gas apprenticeship opportunity in Gas Engineering. This role provides practical, hands-on training to become a first-class Gas Engineer who ensures homes stay warm and safe.
Responsibilities
* Learn from experienced engineers and develop skills from servicing and maintaining to repairing and upgrading central heating systems.
* Contribute to delivering energy-efficient solutions that benefit families daily.
* Participate in a practical training programme at UK-wide academies, gaining knowledge, hands-on skills, and recognised qualifications.
Qualifications
* 4 GCSEs (or Scottish Highers) at grade C/4 or above, ideally including Maths and English, or equivalent qualification.
* A CV that shows a passion for learning a trade, a technical or mechanical mindset, and a commitment to delivering great customer service.
* A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
* Availability to attend training at UK-wide academies, with provided accommodation and travel if needed.

* Starting salary of £18,564, increasing as milestones are reached during apprenticeship.
* Salary increase to £44,044 after completion of the programme, with bonuses and add-ons on top.
* London Weighting Allowance ranging from £4,160 to £6,240 depending on location.
