Responsibilities
Join a highly focused team where we analyse and optimise the performance per watt of our next generation solutions using innovative technologies, methodologies, and tools. This will involve simulation, emulation, modelling, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams in design, verification, architecture, SW, and pre‑ and post‑silicon test. We want your talents applied not only to ensuring customer requirements in PPA are measured and analysed but also understood and creatively exceeded.
* Developing scalable power models for IPs and SOCs
* Creating and maintaining tooling and automation for use‑case power and perf/watt estimation and architecture exploration
Required Skills and Experience
We are seeking experienced engineers for a multi‑disciplinary role. Ideal candidates have experience in power analysis, modelling, or are motivated engineers with valuable transferable skills from verification, SW, emulation, or design backgrounds.
* Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++
* System‑level power modelling and performance/power trade‑offs
* Experience with low‑power architecture, power optimisation, and power management
* Proven track record working with data‑driven modelling frameworks
* Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and interpersonal skills
Nice To Have Skills and Experience
* Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
* Knowledge of database design and management (SQL/NoSQL)
* Familiarity with power estimation and analysis tools (e.g., PowerArtist, PrimePower, PowerPro, Joules)
* Background in machine learning or data analytics for modelling and prediction
* Knowledge of hardware/software co‑design, system modelling, or architecture exploration
