The main purpose of this role is to provide Paraplanning support to Quilter Cheviot Financial Planning based advisers, to ensure full preparation of all necessary documentation & information for rmendation to be delivered by advisers.
This is a challenging and interesting role and would suit an individual with good Paraplanning/Report Writing experience and in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry.
Quilter Cheviot Financial Planning advise individuals with high levels of investable assets and the role will involve working on suitability reports that frequently involve a range of sophisticated products and taxation aspects.
Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative when required.

1. The provision of in-depth reports and analysis to Advisers to enable them to present rmendations to clients.
2. Liaison with Advisers to determine the most appropriate rmendations for clients financial planning.
3. From the information provided by the Adviser determine the most appropriate solution and rmendations to meet the clients' needs.
4. Determine the most appropriate way of presenting the report and ensure that it contains all the necessary information.
5. Ensuring that all work ispleted within the required timescales and to the standards required.
6. Ensure that you have a thorough understanding of Quilter Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) philosophy and your role within this.
7. In your role you should constantly ensure that customers are being treated fairly and highlight any situations where you believe this is not the case.
8. Keep your TCF knowledge up to date through the training provided.
9. Providing Paraplanning services to Financial Advisers within FCA Regulations.

Whilst this isn't a directly customer facing role, the duties you will perform will contribute to the overall positive oues for our customers by ensuring suitability reports are structured and contain sufficient evidence to demonstrate fair value.

10. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Microsoft outlook.
11. Knowledge of Financial Services Industry providers, platforms, analytical tools such as Defaqto Engage and Analytics, X-Plan desirable.
12. Excellentmunication skills, both oral and written, including being proficient in the use of technology.
13. Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
14. CII QCF Level 4 Diploma qualified or equivalent (or very close to achieving)
15. Analytically minded.
16. Good interpersonal skills.
