Position Details
* Location: Wymondham, Norfolk
* Hours: 40 hours per week – Fixed term contract starting April 2026 for a minimum of 18 weeks
* Rate: £13.45 to £16.50 per hour plus bonuses & overtime

Your Responsibilities
As a Seasonal General Operative, you will play a vital role in our Surface Dressing team. Your main focus will be on ensuring the safe movement of vehicles, equipment, and personnel around the site. This is crucial for the safety of both our crew and the public.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and traffic management procedures.
* Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work and resolve issues.
* Assisting drivers with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment, while maintaining accurate records.
* Helping with the safe operation of excavators and other heavy machinery, adhering to company policies.
* Recording and reporting any incidents or accidents on site, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of equipment and vehicles.
* Assisting with the setup and breakdown of work sites, along with any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You hold a full driving licence and a current CSCS card, with experience operating heavy machinery.
* You have a background in a similar role, such as construction or laboring, and possess a solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
* You demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills, along with a willingness to learn new skills.
* You are flexible with shift work and available for overtime when needed.
