About the Role An established UK provider of security is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their growing technical team. This role offers nationwide coverage with regular travel and occasional overnight stays. You will be supporting a wide range of customers across sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, enforcement, and critical infrastructure. This position is ideal for engineers with strong electro‑mechanical or electronic service experience who enjoy autonomy, problem‑solving, and customer interaction. Key Responsibilities Install, commission, and configure specialist detection and scanning systems at customer sites. Carry out routine maintenance, calibration, and fault‑finding on a range of technical equipment. Conduct repairs quickly and effectively to minimise downtime for customers. Provide on‑site and remote technical support, maintaining strong customer service standards. Produce accurate service reports and maintain documentation in line with company procedures. Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and industry standards. Manage spare parts, tools, and service stock effectively.
