Job description Occupational Therapist – Adult Social Care (Sensory Integration Specialist) A local authority in Kirklees is looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Social Care team, supporting a specialist project focused on neurodivergence, emotional regulation, and sensory integration. The service is seeking an Occupational Therapist with an Ayres Sensory Integration qualification to support a cohort of individuals presenting with primary needs relating to neurodivergence and dysregulation. This role will focus on strengthening care planning, identifying sensory and environmental needs, and implementing practical interventions that promote emotional regulation and reduce incidents of dysregulated behaviour. The successful candidate will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, providers, carers, and support environments to develop strategies that improve outcomes and maintain safe, supportive placements.
