Vehicle Service Advisor required in Bridgend:
1. Starting salary up to £27,500 per annum plus bonuses providing an on-target-earnings around £32,000 per annum
2. 8:30am-5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am-4:00pm Friday.
Our client, a franchise-approved car dealer group established across South Wales, is currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Service Advisor to join one of their dealerships in Bridgend.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will work alongside two other Vehicle Service Advisors and a workshop team and shall be responsible for providing a proactive service to customers requesting to schedule their vehicles in for service, maintenance or repair work and arranging, where necessary, a courtesy vehicle. As a Vehicle Service Advisor, you will greet customers into the Service Department, extensively liaise with the workshop to monitor and chase work in progress, keep customers informed of the progress of their vehicle, and up-sell on additional products and services where possible.
The successful Service Advisor will be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills, resulting in total customer satisfaction. Strong organisational skills, along with IT literacy (any experience with Kerridge/ADP preferable), would be of high priority. Due to the nature of this position, recent or current experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor, or a similar automotive aftersales customer service role within the industry would be essential, plus a UK driving licence with minimal points, would be essential.
