About The Role
We are looking for an IT Test Analyst to join the Technology team. The role is based in our Customer Support Centre in Walsall. After a probationary period, there is flexibility to work from home one day per week.

Responsibilities
* As Software Test Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of our software products, which support a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
* You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test cases across a range of platforms, including ERP, point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory and order management systems.
* Work on multiple small projects and Change Requests (CRs) at the same time.
* Create detailed and well-structured test cases to cover functional and non-functional requirements.
* Identify, document and track software defects; collaborate with development teams to verify fixes and resolve issues.
* Communicate test progress, results, and potential improvements to Test Manager and other key stakeholders.
* Collaborate with business analysts and Technical Product Owners to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of testing processes and results.
Skills And Knowledge
* Previous experience in a software testing or quality assurance role focused on customer-facing applications in the retail sector.
* Proven experience using defect tracking tools, such as JIRA or Azure DevOps, to identify and document issues.
* Knowledge of end-to-end general merchandise Retail functions such as Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Trading, Retail & Digital.
* Knowledge of testing best practice tools and techniques.
* Knowledge of testing concepts, methodologies, and practices, such as functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
* Ability to analyse complex systems requirements and write comprehensive test cases.
* Strong attention to detail in understanding requirements and assessing potential risk areas.
