Royal Mail P&FS is recruiting for a Multi-site Cleaning Operative at the Scottish Parcel Hub. Job Reference Number 328048.
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Benefits: 22.5 days annual leave (rising to 25 after 5 years), bank holidays, uniform, PPE, employee referral scheme, Defined Contribution pension scheme, and car parking.
Contract type: Permanent
Working Hours: Part-time, 20.5 hours/week. Friday 6am-12pm, Saturday 6am-2.30pm, Sunday 9am-3pm.
As part of Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions, you will work either as part of a team or independently to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
About the Role
This role covers two adjacent sites. Responsibilities include mopping, toilet cleaning, wall washing, vacuuming, bin emptying, dusting, and surface sanitising, all performed safely and professionally.
Full training and a first-day induction are provided. The role involves physical activity and manual handling.
About You
Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. You should be friendly, reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers while adhering to health & safety regulations.
You will need to manage your own time and work independently, as supervision will be remote.
