About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including care homes and home-care environments. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals will be vital in ensuring the well-being of our clients.
Duties
* Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing and mobility
* Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual patient needs
* Monitor and record patients’ health status, reporting any changes to the healthcare team
* Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the care setting
* Drive to clients’ homes as required for home-care visits
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
Experience & Skills
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting (care home or home care) preferred but not essential
* Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
* Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is advantageous
* Valid driving licence desirable for those required to travel between client locations
* A caring attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn
Additional Information
For applicants requiring visa sponsorship, the role will be offered on a six-month temporary basis, after which UK Health Kits Ltd will consider sponsoring a Skilled Worker visa upon successful completion of the probationary period.
