Freelance Photographers & Videographers Wanted | Caledonian Braves FC
Caledonian Braves aren’t your typical football club – and we don’t want typical football content.
We’re on the lookout for freelance photographers and videographers to join our growing creative pool. There are no guaranteed hours – this is about building a flexible, talented team we can call on throughout the season.
We’re not interested in generic match highlights or cookie-cutter action shots. We want content that captures the personality, community, emotion, and identity of this club – both on and off the pitch. The kind of stuff that makes people stop scrolling and start caring.
You might shoot:
Creative matchday content
Behind-the-scenes moments
Community projects and events
Player profiles or interviews
Documentary-style pieces
We want people who see things differently. Who think beyond the 90 minutes. Who are as comfortable capturing quiet details as they are high-drama goals.
What we’re looking for:
A creative eye and unique perspective
Confidence shooting in fast-paced environments
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings/weekends
Experience editing your own work (video or stills)
A passion for telling stories, not just recording events
Experience in sport is a bonus – but not essential. Personality and ideas matter more than perfect credentials.
If you're interested in being part of a football club doing things differently, we’d love to hear from you.
To apply:
Send us a few samples of your work (video, photo or both) along with a short note about who you are and what makes your style unique. Email media@caledonianbraves.com with the subject line FREELANCE MEDIA – [Your Name].
This is an ad-hoc freelance opportunity with no set hours or guaranteed assignments. Work will be offered on a project-by-project basis, and rates are negotiated per assignment depending on the scope and nature of the work.
All freelance fees will be set at a level that meets or exceeds the Real Living Wage equivalent for the time commitment involved.
