An exciting opportunity has arisen within HMP Perth as we recruit for a Technical Manager - Electrical to join the Estates Team. The Technical manager will manage the maintenance team workload through our computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure the estate complies with statutory regulations and service level agreements. The role involves planning and directing Engineers and Operatives to carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM), installation work and routine and complex electrical repairs. The Technical Manager will plan and monitor local and national contracts. There are additional procurement responsibilities with Local contracts. Have served a recognised apprenticeship and obtained a qualification in an electrical discipline to a minimum of SVQ Level 3 or equivalent. (Hold a current electrical qualification in electrical installations, for example City and Guilds 2382. Experience in the installation, repair, maintenance, test and inspection of electrical systems in an industrial / commercial environment.
