Are you an Electro-Technical Officer seeking a great work-life balance with excellent development opportunities while utilizing your existing skills to support our Irish Sea fleet? This role offers flexibility in location, allowing you to work on any of our Irish Sea vessels.
As a Fleet ETO, you report directly to the Master and are accountable to the Chief Engineer for your duties.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Providing operational support to ship management and assisting onboard in safe, efficient, and cost-effective vessel operation within the Electro/Technical discipline.
2. Maintaining and ensuring the safe operation of your equipment.
3. Managing risks to the ship, personnel, and environment, and implementing safeguards.
4. Participating in the vessel’s safety organization.
5. Developing and operating a Planned Maintenance system for Electro/Technical equipment.
6. Providing emergency support for safety and essential operational equipment.
7. Assisting with projects related to Electro/Technical disciplines.
8. Keeping up-to-date with legislation and technological advancements relevant to your equipment.
9. Being available during annual refits and emergency dockings to assist with Electro/Technical tasks and safety procedures.
10. Organizing and managing your team safely and efficiently under the guidance of the Chief Engineer and company policies.

* Valid STCW training and medical certificates
* Proven ship handling and command experience on ferries
