With a strong reputation and a portfolio of high-profile customers across a diverse range of sectors. As Senior Buyer, you will take ownership of procurement activities across the site, covering all commodities and managing both day-to-day purchasing operations as well as contributing to the development and negotiation of strategic contracts, terms, and supplier relationships. This is a pivotal role with real impact, ideal for a commercially astute professional looking to influence procurement strategy within a thriving engineering environment. The Senior Buyer will be getting involved in: Leading the development and implementation of procurement strategies aligned with customer projects and business objectives Sourcing and securing a wide range of goods, materials, and services to support efficient operational delivery Building and managing strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts to achieve best value in pricing, terms, and performance Managing stock levels and inventory control in line with financial guidelines and operational needs Driving strategic improvements across the procurement function Ensuring supplier due diligence, onboarding, and compliance with quality and regulatory standards Monitoring and reporting on procurement performance to inform continuous improvement and decision-making Skills and Experience A strong Purchasing background within a Senior Buyer / Purchasing Manager role, or currently a Buyer looking for step up into a Senior Buyer role.
