We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for the automotive industry. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met while providing exceptional service and support. Your role will involve upselling services and products, handling cash transactions, and utilising your mechanical knowledge to assist customers effectively.
Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly and assess their service needs.
* Provide detailed information on services offered, including recommendations based on customer requirements.
* Upsell additional services and products to enhance customer satisfaction and vehicle performance.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history.
* Liaise with technicians to ensure timely communication regarding repairs and services.
* Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
* Keep the service area organised and presentable.
Requirements
* Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive environment.
* Strong upselling skills with a track record of meeting sales targets.
* Experience with cash handling procedures.
* Basic mechanical knowledge to understand customer issues and communicate effectively with technicians.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
