Robert Half are working with a reputable business based in East Lothian to recruit a Credit Controller on a permanent basis. Our client is looking for a proactive Credit Control professional who can work well under-pressure within their friendly finance team. The role will sit alongside a purchase ledger assistant and report into the finance manager.
Key responsibilities
1. This is a hands on and busy credit control role. It would suit someone with good communication skills, experience, and self-motivation.
2. Building key relationships with internal and external clients to manage accounts and settlement of outstanding debt in line with terms of business
3. Resolving customer queries in a prompt and efficient manner
4. Manage key accounts on a daily basis, forging key relationships with stakeholders to ensure dept is managed in an efficient and cohesive way
5. Cross checking all monthly accounts and statements
6. Cash management; maximising collections, arranging refunds, transferring and reallocating
Must have:
7. At least 3 years credit control experience
8. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
9. Pro-active attitude
10. Positive mind-set
11. Team player
Salary & Benefits
£25,000 - £28,000 per annum plus benefits.
