We are recruiting for a Quality Process Engineer for our customer. \nPosition description: \nQuality Process Engineer to support the Special Vehicles teams as well as suppliers to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycle. You will own and lead the Special Vehicles Quality Operating System (QOS) and Supplier Technical Assistance (STA). The team deliver bespoke up fit solutions to their customers to drive their business productivity. They are looking for a Quality Process Engineer to join their team. Objectives Support the Special Vehicles teams as well as suppliers to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycle. \n \n What you bring along: \n Skills required \n\nIT Literate, good working knowledge of MS Office and associated applications tasks \nMaintain the quality process for Special Vehicles \nOwn and manage the priority issues affecting Special Vehicles \nCreate and publish quality metrics \nSupport cross-functional teams \/ meetings to ensure progress on issues affecting Special Vehicles \nSupport management reviews with quality process road maps \nSupport development of prevent recurrence plans and process improvement actions; track agreed work plans \nSupport development of the Special Vehicles quality process and delivery performance metrics and dashboard\/health charts \nCo-ordinate all Supplier Technical Assistance (STA) queries, resolving open issues and developing robust plans to meet program timing \nLead STA activities at Suppliers, including the PPAP and PSW processes. \n \nSkills Preferred: \n\nCandidate should be degree qualified and have a minimum of 5 years' experience within the Automotive Industry \nStrong Systems Engineering understanding \nUnderstanding of Quality Operating Systems especially Ford \nExperience in Failure Mode Avoidance and Campaign prevention \n \nExperience Required: \n\n5 Years Automotive Engineering \n \nExperience Preferred: \n\nExperience in Quality roles \n \nEducation Required: \n\nEngineering Degree \n \n \n Position is confirmed inside IR35. Successful candidates need to be eligible to work in the UK.
