About the Business Unit
The Energy unit provides services worldwide across sectors like hydropower, nuclear, waste, renewable energy, and transmission & distribution networks. We offer integrated engineering and project management services throughout the project lifecycle—from concept and design to construction, operations, decommissioning, or repowering—helping to deliver the global energy transition.
Role Overview
* Assist in project delivery from planning to construction.
* Model volumetric earthworks and associated schedules.
* Model alignments, corridors, and assemblies.
* Balance cut and fill volumes, perform volume calculations, and analyze stage storage.
* Produce related plan and longitudinal sectional drawings.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
Prior experience with Civil 3D features such as Grading objects, Surface creation, Volumetric surfaces, Corridors, Assemblies, Alignments, Material quantity take-offs, and Stage Storage analysis is essential.
Candidate Specifications
* Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
* Interest in 3D design and modeling.
* Enthusiasm for learning new skills and technologies.
* Ability to manage workload effectively in a dynamic environment.
* Ownership of issues and autonomous problem-solving skills.
Preferred but not essential:
* Experience in civil engineering design.
* Additional experience with Autodesk tools like Navisworks, Revit, ACC.
* Knowledge of industry modeling standards.
* EngTech TMICE or similar qualification.
