Personal Assistant
We’re building the future of quantum computing, and we’re looking for a Personal Assistant to support one of our executives as the business continues to scale.
This is not a traditional personal assistant role. Instead, you’ll be embedded in the day-to-day work of an executive, providing high-quality administrative and technical support that enables strategic thinking, clear communication, and effective decision-making.
You’re highly organised and comfortable working with technology. You enjoy getting into the details — navigating new information, drafting and refining documents, and producing clear, well-structured summaries. You’re proactive, use your initiative, and take pride in accuracy and solving problems independently.
The role is most likely based in London, with ad-hoc travel to Reading. There may be occasional travel within the UK and internationally; however, this is not guaranteed or regular.
Reporting to Shelley Lam, Chief of Staff, you’ll be responsible for:
* Drafting, editing, and maintaining high-quality documents, presentations, and briefing materials
* Taking clear, structured notes in meetings and turning discussions into concise summaries and action lists
* Supporting strategic and operational administrative tasks on behalf of the executive
* Tracking actions, decisions, and key information to ensure follow-through and continuity
* Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and support preparation for meetings
* Continuously improving templates, documents, and ways of working to increase clarity and efficiency
You may not come from a traditional personal assistant background - and that’s absolutely fine. What matters most is your ability to work independently, think ahead, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
You’re very strong with Google Workspace, highly confident using Slack, and comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity, quality of output, and ways of working. You can quickly find, assess, and synthesise information, and communicate clearly and professionally. This role is all about being reliable, detail-focused, and proactively solutions-driven — helping the team stay organised, informed, and effective.
