Role Responsibilities
* Managing audit assignments from planning to completion, working with a diverse client base across various sectors
* Preparing and reviewing financial statements in compliance with UK accounting standards
* Conducting audit fieldwork, including assessing controls, testing financial data, and identifying risks
* Building strong client relationships and providing proactive business and financial advice
* Reviewing audit work completed by junior staff and providing constructive feedback
* Assisting with corporate and personal tax computations as part of year-end procedures
* Staying up to date with audit regulations and industry developments to maintain technical excellence

Candidate Requirements
* Newly qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
* Experience working in audit within an accountancy practice
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to manage workload and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* A proactive and client-focused approach, with strong problem-solving skills
