Your Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to fostering. You will play a crucial role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload, ensuring high levels of supervision.
* Conduct regular supervision sessions, monitoring practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and safeguarding decisions.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
* Previous experience in children and families social work.
* A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
* A full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.
This is a demanding yet rewarding position that requires excellent report writing skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines. You will be working closely with foster parents as professional colleagues, promoting a collaborative approach to supervision.
