Our client, based in Hackney, is currently recruiting for an Income Officer on a 3-month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing current rent accounts, attended court for rent arrears and also have access to their own vehicle.
THIS IS AN OFFICE BASED POSITION
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Managing around 300 current rent accounts
2. Taking payments over the phone
3. Monitoring tenants rent accounts and chase tenants rent arrears
4. Attending evictions alongside bailiffs
5. Representing the organisation in court
6. Serving NOSPs and NTQs
7. Setting up repayment plans
Experience required:
8. Experience required in Social Housing
9. Experience working with customers within housing
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
11. Good organisational and time management skills
12. A thourough knowledge of tenancy management and rent arreas recovery
13. Awareness of and ability to comply with health and safety legislation
14. Experience asissting with clients with complex needs
15. Ability to work flexibly and respond quickly to changing demands, while meeting deadlines
