Department – Sales
Reporting to – Sales Manager/Director
Purpose of Role:
To provide proactive office-based account management of new and existing sales opportunities and support the activities of the Sales Team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain regular contact and relationships with existing account base
* Support the Business Development function
* Make appointments and manage diary for current account base
* Understand client needs and recommend solutions
* Produce and follow up quotations
* Work to agreed sales targets and profit margins
* Update pipeline and sales forecasts
* Undertake follow-up activities to marketing
* Liaison with internal departments
* Update customer details and activities on CRM system
* Other tasks that may arise in carrying out the role
* Self-motivated
* Highly organized and professional
* Confident and articulate
* High standard of Maths and English
* Excellent telephone manner
* Sales or Account Management experience
* ECDL
* Good IT/Technical knowledge
* Experience of working in the education sector
* High level of accuracy and efficiency
* Ability to prioritize
* Team-focused
