Your Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
* Provide flexible and individualized care to children and young adults.
* Promote, safeguard, and protect the welfare of our young people.
* Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships.
* Encourage the development of individual interests and skills.
* Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Experience working with children and young people, along with an understanding of the challenges they face.
* Flexibility to work 7 x 24-hour shifts, including sleep-ins, on a 3-week rotation.
* A willingness to learn and grow, with excellent communication and listening skills.
* A full UK driving license and access to a car for travel.
* A relevant qualification (Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care) or a commitment to work towards it.
* A positive attitude and the ability to accept guidance and direction.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, permanent position with a shift pattern on rotation. You will be part of a dedicated team that values your individuality and supports your professional development.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary structure:
* Unqualified Salary: Base salary of £24,604.58, earning up to £32,348.58 with sleep-in shifts.
* Qualified Salary: Base salary of £27,107.08, earning up to £34,851.08 with sleep-in shifts.
Additional benefits include:
* A sleep-in allowance of £64 per night.
* Up to 6 weeks of holiday per year.
