About the Role:
In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Head of Business Transformation where you will reimagine how the organisation works, ensuring that the customers are always at the heart of what our client does. You'll harness your expertise in continuous improvement methodologies to elevate our services, making them more efficient, inclusive, and user-centric.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspire and Lead: Cultivate a high-performing team that embraces curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning.
* Build Relationships: Forge strong connections throughout the organisation, bridging strategic goals with daily operations.
* Champion Improvement: Advocate for change, empowering colleagues to tackle challenges and enhance customer experiences.
* Innovate Solutions: Use structured methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA) to diagnose operational challenges and co-create practical, user-centred solutions.
* Integrate Change: Ensure continuous improvement initiatives align with broader organisational strategies, fostering seamless collaboration across teams.
What You'll Bring:
* A strong track record in leading continuous improvement initiatives within a transformation environment.
* Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies, preferably holding a Black Belt or working towards it.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Proficiency in process mapping and service design techniques, including user journey mapping and blueprint creation.
* A commitment to fostering an inclusive culture where everyone feels valued and heard.
The Must-Haves:
* A blend of analytical thinking, empathy, and creativity.
* Proven experience in managing or mentoring continuous improvement professionals.
* Familiarity with agile methodologies and GDS lifecycle stages.
The Added Extras:
* Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma.
* Experience in public services sectors.
* Knowledge of business analysis frameworks and service design tools like Miro or Figma.
