Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the continuously growing Respiratory, Sleep and NIV physiology team at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust for a Respiratory and Sleep physiologist. The post holder will primarily work at City campus with cross‑town duties at QMC campus to ensure experience in all respiratory and sleep physiological measurements performed at NUH, and will benefit from a CPD programme that supports the attainment of higher banded roles.
Responsibilities
* Basic and more complex respiratory physiology investigations.
* Sleep study reporting and presentation of cases for the weekly sleep MDT.
* CPAP initiation, follow‑ups and yearly reviews.
* Administrative duties pertaining to the above roles.
* Clinical supervision and training of junior staff.
Qualifications
Recent graduate of the BSc Healthcare Science Degree (respiratory and sleep option) seeking a permanent post. Applicants should meet the essential criteria outlined in the Person Specification.
