Role: Director, Global Finance Risk Management & Controls (FRMC), Projects & Change Management
Are you energized by a high-profile finance risk management role that allows you to shape risk programs and challenge organizational thinking to make informed business decisions?
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of qualified, experienced professionals to assess and mitigate finance risk across key finance change processes, finance transformation, system and business model migrations, and global projects.
* Provide strategic insight into risk areas across key finance processes, finance transformation, and global projects (S4H, J2C, GPO projects, transformation projects) to stakeholders, advocating for cost-efficient, practical risk mitigation with finance, project, and tech leaders.
* Manage the funding model and stakeholder expectations to ensure projects requiring risk input or impacting the financial control environment have appropriate resources.
* Establish engagement models with projects (S4H, GPOs) to ensure timely involvement and governance.
* Drive risk mitigation strategies that consider cost, digital approaches, effectiveness, and alignment with business goals.
* Integrate risk management activities with project management processes like planning, execution, and monitoring.
* Partner with GPOs to identify automation opportunities and support risk assessment in digital tool implementation.
* Report to stakeholders on project status and risk mitigation plans.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
* Qualified accountant or CIA risk qualification
* Experience leading a team in finance risk assessment
* Strong finance background with knowledge of financial systems and processes
* Understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley
* Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Stakeholder engagement and management skills
* Effective cross-functional communication
* Experience developing financial controls to mitigate risks
* Ability to manage multiple projects
* Leadership and team development skills
