About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Support the social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs of students.
2. Manage challenging behaviour with patience, consistency, and empathy.
3. Assist learning across the class in 1:1, small group, and whole-class settings.
4. Monitor and support students with SEMH difficulties and other special educational needs.
5. Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
What We Are Looking For
6. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant.
7. Belief in a holistic approach to children's learning and development.
8. Calm, empathetic, and able to set clear boundaries.
9. Trustworthy, reliable, and dedicated.
10. A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
