Early Careers Talent Specialist - 12 month fixed term contract
Hybrid role - with at least 3 days on site in Cheltenham
Salary up to £40k, subject to skills & experience, plus a benefits package including company bonuses.

The Early Careers Talent Specialist will play a key role in delivering our early careers talent plans and initiatives. Reporting to the HR Director, this role manages a range of early careers programs, including outreach, apprenticeships, and Year in Industry schemes, across the business to build a sustainable talent pipeline.
This position is ideal for someone eager to work in a busy HR team, managing high-quality initiatives such as apprenticeships, STEM outreach, work experience, and placements.
Responsibilities
* Deliver the 2025/26 early careers plan, including role identification, recruitment, onboarding, and pastoral care.
* Support apprentice managers with recruitment, onboarding, and progression guidance.
* Organize recruitment events such as open evenings and assessment centers.
* Collaborate with training providers and managers to ensure progress and meaningful project involvement for associates.
* Chair the early careers steering committee for program governance.
* Design and deliver outreach activities with schools and STEM ambassadors to attract diverse talent.
* Coordinate work experience placements, ensuring positive learning experiences.
* Manage budget, wages, bonuses, and levy funds with finance support.
* Utilize talent metrics for monitoring and evaluation.
* Serve as a key contact for internal and external early careers inquiries.
Skills & Requirements
* Passion for developing early careers talent, with experience in apprenticeships, graduate programs, STEM outreach, education, or L&D.
* HR or recruitment experience is advantageous.
* Experience working with young people.
* Strong project management and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
