There is no minimum number of hours required, although working regularly is recommended to maintain your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service.
Shifts are available on weekdays, nights, and weekends, which can be easily viewed and booked through an app. With just a few taps, you can secure the shifts you want.
Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join as a Bank Healthcare Assistant with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift for annual leave, plus access to benefits like free meals on duty, free parking, and more.

You will join a team providing care for adult men who may have a forensic background and enduring mental health conditions. Whether you are a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, or Care Worker, you will use your experience to support individuals in leading valued and fulfilled lives.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5-hour shifts. As a bank Healthcare Assistant, you'll be on a zero-hour contract, choosing which shifts to work each week.
Where you will be working
Location: Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Surrey, RH6 0BN
You will work at Farmfield Hospital, located near Gatwick.
You will care for adult men aged 18+ with potential forensic backgrounds and mental health issues such as personality disorder, substance misuse, and challenging behaviors.
