General Procurement Buyer 6 Month Contract - Inside IR35 Belfast (Hybrid - 3 Days on site) Role Overview Belcan are currently working with one of the leaders in the Aviation industry in their search for a General Procurement Buyer. In General Procurement (PJLU) they are responsible for procuring UK local site requirements for Manufacturing Technologies Products & Services and Real Estate and Facility Management. This gives you an opportunity to contribute to PJL strategy which touches all UK sites within the General Procurement Scope This open position is to support the approval of General procurement purchase orders and support the customers and sourcing locally within the PJLU organisation. The portfolio consists mainly of products & services related to Manufacturing Technologies Products & Services and Real Estate and Facility Management. The candidate will benefit from proximity to the customers and will need to build up a strong customer relationship to support the sourcing requirements. The role will be based out of their Belfast site. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with relevant company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Execute CFT's; approving requisitions; and ensure delivery to expectations as appropriate. Building relationships with the trans-national organization of General Procurement and locally with key customers and stakeholders and managing any escalations in a timely manner. Working collaboratively and ensuring the link between the Supplier and the client MFT/MDT in all topics to ensure there is 1 voice to the supplier. Willing to travel should the requirement arise (limited to Europe) Essential Skills: Procurement buyer experience ideally in an Indirect Procurement role. Experience in working in a multi-functional & multi divisional environment. Good networking skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment Desirable Qualifications & Experience: Familiarity with procurement systems and software (SAP and Coupa). Competencies: Stakeholder Management: Relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
