We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Art / Textiles Teacher to join our vibrant and welcoming department for a 1-year maternity cover from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified teacher (RQT) or an Early Career Teacher (ECT1 or ECT2) looking to gain valuable experience and grow their career in a dynamic learning environment.
* Deliver engaging and high-quality Art and Textiles lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Inspire creativity, encourage experimentation, and support student progress in both practical and theoretical aspects
* Work collaboratively within a supportive department and school community
* Participate fully in school life, including extra-curricular activities, exhibitions, and events
* A qualified teacher of Art/Textiles (QTS awarded or expected by Sept 2025)
* A teacher passionate about helping students develop confidence and creativity
* A reflective practitioner eager to contribute and grow professionally
* Someone with energy, initiative, and a positive approach to teamworking

This post is a guaranteed 1-year contract to cover a maternity leave, with a clear end date of August 2026.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
