Dementia Nurse Consultant - NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde

Shift pattern - Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
The Opportunity:
Provide professional nursing leadership, strategic direction, and expert consultancy on all aspects of clinical nursing practice and care for people with dementia across the patient pathway in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, with a proactive focus on brain health promotion. Based within the Corporate Nursing and Midwifery team, this will involve working across professional and organisational boundaries, in partnership and collaboration with others, including service users, carers, health professionals, social work, third sector staff, care home providers, and local education providers.
We are seeking a visionary, dynamic, and innovative Registered Nurse with:
1. Current NMC registration
2. Masters degree or evidence of postgraduate level knowledge
3. Significant post-registration experience in dementia care
4. Proven senior clinical leadership and strategic service development experience
5. Relevant experience as a professional leader
6. The ability to inspire, influence, and collaborate across organisational boundaries
