As a Classroom Cover Facilitator, you will oversee lessons when teachers are absent, ensuring students stay engaged, productive, and on task. With no planning or marking required, this role is an excellent stepping stone into a long-term career in education. The Role: Supervise and guide students during pre-planned lessons Deliver work set by classroom teachers across a range of subjects Maintain positive behaviour and a focused learning environment Provide support to students with questions or tasks Uphold school policies and ensure smooth running of lessons Assist teaching staff with general classroom support when needed About You: Confident and comfortable leading groups of young people Experience working with children or teenagers (youth work, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, etc.) is beneficial Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Calm, professional, and adaptable A genuine interest in education and supporting student progress Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Why Work With Tradewind Recruitment?
