A Vacancy at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking to recruit a part-time consultant psychiatrist in older adult mental health. The post has become available due to the retirement of the existing post-holder. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Older Adult CMHT.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will take part in the multi-disciplinary management of community referrals for those with both functional and organic illness. There will also be dedicated time within the role for you to help shape the strategic developments within the care group across Dorset. There is a strong leadership structure across the organisation with the opportunity for you to have regular input into leadership meetings and developments. The catchment area is a suburban area of North Bournemouth, with good peer support and robust cross-cover (there are two OPMH consultant colleagues and two SAS OPMH doctors in the same building). The post holder may take part in the consultant on-call rota remunerated at 3% plus 0.75 APA and will have access to 10 days per year of study leave and a study leave budget of up to £1000 per year.

Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates for Consultant posts must be on the GMC Specialist Register (including via CESR/European Community Rights) or have a CCT/CESR(CP) date within 6 months of interview.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced DBS check.
