📍 Tyseley, Birmingham (B11)
💰 £16.27 – £18.59 per hour PAYE (DOE)
⏰ 40 hours per week + Overtime Available

We are currently recruiting for an experienced VacEx Driver / Operator to join a major civil engineering and infrastructure project in the West Midlands.
The Role
* Driving and operating a Vacuum Excavator (VacEx)
* Carrying out safe excavation works around underground utilities and services
* Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with site safety procedures
* Completing daily vehicle and plant checks
* Working across various sites throughout the West Midlands as required
Essential Requirements
* Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
* Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
* Digital Tachograph Card
* VacEx Operator Certification (CPCS A78 Vacuum Excavator Operator or equivalent)
* CSCS Card
Preferred Experience
* Minimum 1 year's experience operating HGV vehicles
* Previous experience operating Vacuum Excavators on construction, utilities, or infrastructure projects
* Emergency First Aid at Work qualification
* Flexible approach to working hours and site locations
* Ability and willingness to work away from home when required
