Up to £38,000 + uncapped bonus potential, company car or car allowance & home‑based contract.
Brakes is an independent foodservice distributor with ambitious growth plans. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Independent Sales Team and shape the future of our independent business.
What you’ll be doing:
* Scope out, hunt, and seal deals with fresh, independent new business opportunities while keeping that pipeline flowing.
* Cultivate connections with independent players in the local food market.
* Craft bespoke culinary propositions to help customers save time and money.
* Drive growth by hitting profit targets and being rewarded accordingly.
* Welcoming new clients, ensuring they feel at home working with your Area Sales Manager buddy.
* Keep an eye on competition and independent market trends, providing the latest solutions and insights from the world's biggest food wholesaler.
* Crush market goals.
What we are looking for:
* Experience in field sales or a similar background (not essential).
* A commercial mindset and drive to deliver against targets.
* Confidence working out in the field with customers at heart.
* Motivation to learn; a passion for food service and hospitality is advantageous.
