Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation and technology and knowledge transfer. - THE ROLE - The post holder will be responsible for the provision of an advisory and support service to Faculties and Professional Service Departments in relation to all financial matters pertaining to the City Deals and Special Projects Office. - ABOUT YOU - - A bachelors degree or equivalent Level 6 qualification. - Qualified accountant in one of the following bodies: CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA or CPA. - Evidence of substantial post-qualification experience in an accounting environment in a large complex organisation (minimum turnover greater than £10m). - Experience of financial planning and budgeting or financial accounting/auditing for a large organisation. - Experience in the use of complex financial accounting IT systems and associated software.
